Worship at Walnut Grove Baptist, Every Sunday 10:15 AM

You’re welcome!

The first thing you should know about worship services here at Walnut Grove Baptist is that you are welcome and wanted. No matter who you are, no matter where you’re coming from you have a place in worship.

Worship starts at 10:15 AM in the Sanctuary

Music and Message

Most Sundays our worship service is a mix of prayer, music, Scripture and preaching. Our worship style is a mix of traditional hymns and contemporary Christian music presented by our worship leader, band and choir.

Our preaching always builds from passages of Scripture. Some Sundays we dive deep into the text, adding history, language and commentary to better understand the story. Other times we use pop culture, personal stories and other images to help us unpack some part of the text into practical guidance for the Christian life.

What do I wear? What do I bring?

The most important thing to us when you come to worship is your presence. Don’t let fashion anxiety keep you at home! Some folks will wear suits and ties or dresses. Others will wear jeans or khakis and polos. You’ll also find folks in t-shirts, sweatshirts or whatever is comfy. Wear what helps you be present and worshipful.

Other than yourself (and any friends or family you’d like to invite), you don’t need to bring anything else. We have pens, bibles and hymnals in the pews for folks who need them. You’re absolutely welcome to bring your own bible or notebook or use your phone though.
